2011 Winter Drawdown Schedule

Arlington Pond & Millville Lake

                  

October 10-11;         
Arlington Pond- Gate will be open to discharge approximately 50 mgd.
                            
October 12;               
Big Island Pond- Begins drawing down by opening their gate 50%.
Arlington Pond gate will be adjusted to maintain a steady state on the lake.
Millville Lake gate will be opened 12"                                                  
                          
October 14;               
Big Island Pond - will open their gate 100%.
Arlington Pond gate will be adjusted again to maintain a steady state with
maximum flow anticipated to be 100mgd.                 
 
“No downstream flooding is anticipated”
  
October 15-23;         
Continuing with Lake drawdown’s to winter levels
                              
October 24-29;         
Winter levels should be achieved. (Arlington; approx. 156.0’) (Big Island; 2.2’ @ indicator)

Directions to Town Hall

  • Rte 93 to Exit 1.
  • Go Straight through 3 sets of lights, crossing Rte 28.
  • Continue for approximately .75 of a mile, following the signs for Municipal Buildings.
  • Turn left onto Geremonty Drive.
  • The Town Hall is located on the right after the courthouse.
