The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide the most effective, efficient and proactive human resource services to the employees of the Town of Salem. The functions performed by Human Resources Department include planning and administering policies, practices, and procedures relating to all phases of personnel activity within the Town of Salem. Additionally, the Human Resources Department oversees the recruitment and retention of employees. The Human Resources Department strives to ensure that all conditions of employment are managed fairly, timely, and in an equitable manner.
