Salem Blue Devils Basketball Salem basketball is an all volunteer organization that provides the youth of Salem with the opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball. It has both recreational and travel programs. Programs are available for boys from grades 2-12 and girls from grades 2-10. Salem Girls Softball and T-ball Salem Girls Softball provides an outlet for the girls of Salem to exercise, compete, socialize and most of all have fun while playing softball. The league consists of about 350 girls on 30 teams in 5 divisions with girls ranging from 6 to 16 and well over 100 parent volunteers. Salem Rams Football and Cheerleading Familiarize all youths, ages 7-15 years of age with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. Season typically runs from August 1st to the end of October. Men's Slow Pitch Softball Men's Slow Pitch Softball provides recreation fun for men ages 18 and up. Games are played Monday thru Friday and an occasional Sunday night. The Men's league is currently seeking another team for the 2013 season. Pitch heigh is 6 to 10 feet. They play 20 games a year and then have playoffs. The season begins the end of April and ends the second week of August. Weeknight games start at 6:15pm (4:15 and 5:45 for Sunday night games). For more information please call (603) 890-2140.
